MONDAY, March 24 (HealthDay News) — A new review of 32 studies suggests that obese women — particularly white women — are more likely than others to skip screenings for breast and cervical cancer.

There are many theories why heavier women might be less likely to undergo health screenings, Cohen said. "It may be related to patients' emotional barriers, things like embarrassment and fear of being weighed. It may be provider-bias, physicians having a bias against obese patients. And [obese women] have other health-care needs, like dealing with high cholesterol."

FORESTVILLE, Md. -- He was charged with eight counts of distributing child pornography, four counts of possessing child pornography and one count of possessing marijuana. If convicted on all counts, Dodson could be sentenced to up to 85 years in prison and/or $211,000 in fines.

The investigation into Dodson began in early 2007, when investigators located images of child pornography that were being traded on the Internet. The activity was traced to Dodson's residence, where a search warrant was served and several computers were seized.

Forensic analysis of the computers revealed more than 75 videos of suspected child pornography.

The primary mission of the Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Unit is to protect children from computer-facilitated sexual exploitation.
