markets.businessinsider.com -- The Trump administration on Thursday rolled out a second round of aid for farmers who have been stung by its yearlong trade war with China, bringing the price tag of bailout efforts so far to about $28 billion. About $14.5 billion worth of direct payments will be made to farmers through the subsidy program, the Department of Agriculture said, while another $1.5 billion is set aside for commodity purchases and marketing efforts.
